Event Registration
Upon arrival, please ensure you collect your conference satchel and name badge at the registration desk. Delegates must wear their lanyard at all times during the conference.
Upon arrival, please ensure you collect your conference bag and name badge at the registration desk. Your name badge must be worn at all times as it is your official pass into all sessions, the exhibition, lunch and morning/afternoon tea. The conference registration desk will be located in the P9-P11 Plaza Foyer, Plaza Level and will be open as follows:
Wednesday 23 October: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Pre-Conference Workshops, P3-P5 Plaza Foyer)
Thursday 24 October: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Friday 25 October: 7:30am - 3:15pm

Welcome Networking Function

Cost: n/a It will be an informal networking event with one drink and finger food provided. Additional drinks can be purchased.
AEA Annual General Meeting
Date: Thursday 24 October
Time: 4:45pm – 5:45pm
Location: Plaza Room P9-P10, Plaza Level, BCEC
Conference Dinner (ticket required)
Date: Thursday 24 October
Time: 7:00pm – 10:30pm
Location: Sky Room, Sky Level, BCEC
Cost: AEA Members and Students - $100, Non-Members - $125, ticket required for entry
Ticket: Delegates who have purchased tickets will have a sicker on their name tag, please ensure you being along your name tag to the dinner for entry.
Early Career Epidemiologists Breakfast (ticket required)
Date: Friday 25 October
Time: 7:00am arrival for a prompt 7:15am start, concludes at 8:15am
Location: Plaza Room P11, Plaza Level
Cost: $15, ticket required for entry
Breaks
Morning/afternoon teas and lunch will be served in the exhibition area in the P9-P11 Plaza Foyer, Plaza Level during the Conference. If you requested a dietary requirement meal, it will be available on a separate dietary requirement table during the Conference.
Dietary Requirements: The venue has been notified of any dietary requirements delegates have provided PHAA during the online registration process. If you have a dietary requirement and have not yet notified PHAA, please email nrutter@phaa.net.au as soon as possible to ensure provisions can be made.
Payment
Please note full payment is required before the Conference starts on Wednesday 23 October 2019. If you have an outstanding payment at the Conference you will be required to complete the payment before attending the Conference unless otherwise agreed with PHAA prior to the Conference.

Conference App
We are pleased to be able to offer an Event App that can be used during the Conference to view the agenda, abstracts and speakers for the Conference as well as contact each other.
To download the app go to the App Store on your phone, use the QR codes below or search ‘The Event App by EventsAIR’ and type in the event code: aea19. You will then have access to the app.
Once you are on the event app you can log into the app with your registration details to customise the app and make your own agenda.

Speakers Preparation Area
If you are presenting an oral presentation and need to upload your PowerPoint slides, please proceed to the Speakers Preparation desk located in the Plaza Room P9-P11 Foyer, Plaza Level.

Dress Code
The dress code for the conference is smart casual. Please note that the venue can become cold at times so please bring along a wrap or jumper just in case.
Evaluation Questionnaires
A Conference evaluation will be emails at the end of the Conference, we ask all delegates to complete the evaluation form. Feedback can also be given at the registration desk at the Conference by completing the feedback form and adding it to the feedback box.
Name Badge
Name badges can be collected from the registration desk during the times indicated above; delegates must wear their lanyard at all times during the conference.
Bring your Own Lanyard Event
To reduce the event environmental footprint, this is a Bring Your Own Lanyard (BYOL) event.
If you have a supply from previous conferences and especially if you would like to donate your extras, bring them along. We will have some extra lanyards as needed.
